FAQ I've never done yoga or pilates, is PiYo for me? I BARELY did yoga and NEVER did Pilates and I teach PiYo. Just like learning anything new, it will be challenging, but if you stick with it consistently and augment with a healthy diet - you will be wishing you started sooner! I always offer modifications, and some days I stick to modifications for myself! My number one priority is to make sure you feel successful doing this workout.
Is PiYo mostly stretching? NO NO NO! It is full body. The reason I LOVE this workout and think it's the best for busy moms and families, is b/c it is full body. You’ll sweat, stretch, and strengthen—all in one workout. Define exactly how you want to look—and feel. No weights. Plus...we move to some awesome music so the workout is enjoyable too!
What do I need? Sign off from your doctor of course! A mat, shoes or just your body, and a good attitude!
What do I need before I can start?
YOU need to check in with YOU and your doctor. As with any workout, I'm merely an instructor moving you through an awesome workout. But you need to make sure your body is ready, you are aware of injuries (and tell me prior!).
Fill out the waiver form. Much like any gym you will workout at, this form is my waiver.
Make sure I have your cell and email.
